Mariana Rodriguez Six years ago, I found yoga, the art of enjoying life in a healthy, fun and creative way. Teaching is my passion and I enjoy helping people connect with their bodies and discover their own internal teachers.
I was born in Mexico and grew up in Monterrey, in the northern part of the county. I earned my degree in Fine Arts and Digital Media, and am an artist by profession. My brother introduced me to yoga during a difficult time in my life and the results were amazing. I felt renewed when I discovered my new ability, and since that moment I’ve attached this creative practice to my life style.
Since 2010 I have been a certified by Yoga Alliance RYT200 as a Vinyasa Yoga teacher. Practice of this art is guided mainly by joining two postures by breath, which is how multiple postures are connected together. My style is very dynamic and explorative, allowing my students to flow in their minds and bodies throughout the class. Since that year I´ve been focused mainly in moving towards the Acroyoga practice.
I like to be dynamic and active; traveling is my passion, and I love the mountains. The combination of different disciplines including rock climbing, aerial acrobatics, fire dance, hula hooping and slack-lining, have enabled me to evolve my internal yoga practice into a more acrobatic and performance creative path, Co- founder and active teacher of Acro Art Yoga Mexico integrating Acroyoga Montreal teaching technique.
In 2013 I integrated 50 hours of Vinyasa Flow style to my RYT 200 certification, along with Acroyoga Teacher Training with teachers Eugene and Jessie from Acroyoga Montreal. I have practiced with yoga teachers such as Yogeswari, Michael Gannon, Adrian de la Fuente, Mayra Cadengo, Jacinto Soto, and Marina & Hors from Vinyasa Yoga Monterrey.
