"Better Together."Acro began as a spectacle. There was the high of the high. Over time playing with the practice, I saw the impact of people being interdependent in class rather than a group of individuals doing personal practice side-by-side. What I needed in yoga more than anything, both as a teacher and a student, was to feel together rather than against. Partner-focused practice has radically transformed my classes, my students and me.Yoga in its highest form is union. In other forms, we sweat. We laugh. We struggle. We bend. We break. And then one day, a good day, it comes together. We come together. And we realize, we are better together.I completed my 200hr TTC + 100hrs yoga therapy with Yoga Darshanam in Mysore, India. I was part of the 2015 AYM teacher training crew. My work is influenced by the teachings of Yvonne Croteau's empowerment (Samadhi Yoga, Seattle), Edward Clark's inversion methodology and relatable cynicism (Tripsichore, UK), Simon Low's commitment to individual alignment and therapy-based practice (The Yoga Academy, UK), Deesan Sudhakar constant refocusing of perspective (Visions of Yoga), and Jesse and Eugene's realness and vision of yoga as part of the bigger picture.Mindy is based in Busan, Korea. She is excited to have the opportunity to share the common denominator of yoga as a means for connecting with communities around the world.Contact:
