Nicole Golden brings a playful attitude to all of her classes whether it is a powerful yang flow, a quiet Yin practice, or a Gentle Senior Restorative class. But the most play occurs in her AcroYoga workshops where she shares her love of partner flows, counterbalances and dynamic acrobatic maneuvers. It is in this practice that she also shares her Thai Yoga Massage knowledge building a therapeutic component to her AcroYoga play.
Play is also a big part of Nicole’s life outside of yoga as she raises an energetic daughter with her husband Ron. When not playing, Nicole trains with the Saskatoon Rowing Club, enjoys performing Kirtan, gardening, and enjoying the serenity of her home on the Lake.
In addition to the outward expression of play, Nicole believes that an integral part of a Yogi’s life is developing the quiet, focused awareness that allows one to draw inward. Through her practice and study of Yin, chakras and meridian theory, she looks to deepen her practice of contemplation, gratitude and nonattachment
Nicole is the co-founder/director of Inner Peace Yoga in Saskatoon, a Yoga studio dedicated to bringing Yoga to all beings, regardless of physical ability. She is a certified Vinyasa Yoga Instructor, Advanced AcroYoga Montreal Instructor and has completed the Level 2 Yin Chakra and Meridian training with Paul Grilley.
