loves studying and experiencing different facets of intelligent movement and mind-body-society connectivity. She began as a dancer, earned a Master’s in Choreography, and enjoys a dayjob guiding modern dance, ballet, yoga, pilates, and improv classes and clubs at colleges/universities in Kentucky and Denmark. Along the way, new modalities of bodywork and new ways of moving mindfully keep finding her. In 2014, Sarah met her husband, Martin, whose back ground in gymnastics and interest in movement culture had already brought him in contact with acroyoga. So that when they found AcroYoga Montreal, they found a movement vocabulary that sythesizes all of their favorite things.
Sarah and Martin curently guide classes and workshops in Scandanavia and the US where the primary focus is, “providing opportunity for people to connect, communicate, and leave their comfort zones. Our mission is manifesting a more equitable, democratic, and free society, one bird pose at a time.” More info on their website.
